I started a series with energy circles as a dominant piece of the painting. The top one is on ungessoed canvas board. The following two paintings have a final layer of chalk.
This is one of the series of paintings that is still a continuing project. The second piece has a technique that I had not explored before - pouring. I also did a quick charcoal sketch.The bottom painting has a quick pen and ink sketch.
I incorporated several techniques in the top four paintings such as collage and stenciling.
The above painting has a nice shine to it, thanks to glazing and metallic paints.
The bottom 5 paintings form a series again is a result of playful strokes and other techniques common to mixed media such as stenciling, stamping, collage elements etc.
The top three paintings in rich and vibrant pink and sea green colors is a result of another mixed media artwork.
