I used either canvas panels or gallery type canvas for these paintings. The emphasis was on faces and color. All of these paintings were done on soft modeling paste. I prefer Golden or Liquitex brands. It was applied irregularly on the surface, allowed to dry and then was ready to be painted on. You can view more of these in the mixed media paintings folder.
